Auto Negotiation Enabling autonegotiation allows for
automatic determination of the speed
and duplex mode.
For 1000BaseT, autonegotiation is
mandatory and enabled by default.
Autonegotiation is also mandatory for
Gigabit Ethernet redundancy

Configuring Logical Layer Parameters
Logical port configuration includes the definition of the protocol for each physical
E1/T1 port. After a logical port is defined, it is bound to a bridge port, and bridge
port properties are configured.
Logical ports can be used to define one or more of the following:
