2. Select the Modem-1 check box for IO-2 to make sure that the HTU-E1C
receives the traps from the remote modem.
3. Click <Set> to implement the changes.
Configuring HTU-E1C System Parameters
To configure HTU-E1C system parameters:
1. Connect the HTU-E1C card installed in slot 2 of LRS-24 to the remote HTU-2
with a straight cable. Wait 60 seconds for the modems to synchronize.
2. Verify that on both modems HDSL LINE A and HDSL LINE B SYNC LOSS LEDs
are OFF.
3. Verify that the Status bar for Modem-1 at the bottom of the HTU-E1C card
turns green.
4. In the LRS-24 View window, double click the HTU-E1C card installed in slot 2.
