• For the Line-Clock Source field, RADview checks the selectable values for both
near-end and far-end modems. Only the common values are displayed in the
dialog boxes of both modems. The values that end in – Ext or – Ext–Auto are
not selectable if the interface type is Ethernet or ETH/BNC.
• For the DTE field, RLB Enable and LLB Enable are disabled for the X.21, G.703
(64k), G.703–E1, G703-T1, Ethernet, and ETH/BNC interface types.
• You cannot change configuration while software download is in progress.
Viewing and Configuring Modem Ports
In the Zoom view, you can manage the ports of the LRS-24 modems. (For
instructions on how to zoom in on a modem card, see
Selecting
Modems/Launching Zoom View
.
Managing ports includes the following tasks:
• Viewing modem port parameters
• Configuring modem ports
• Viewing port status.
To view and configure modem ports:
• In the Zoom view, select the modem (near-end or far-end), right-click and
select Configuration > Ports Config.
The relevant Ports Configuration dialog box opens (For instructions on how to
configure modem ports parameters and some general limitations, see
Configuring Modem Port Parameters
.)
