The Status bar (
Figure 2-8)
appears under the LRS-24 chassis. Each segment of
the Status bar corresponds to the IO slot directly above it on the chassis. The
colors of the communication bar segments reflect connectivity between near-end
and far-end modems (including SMOD modems), as follows (except for ASMi-40):
Red No communication between near-end and far-end modem
Green Communication between near-end and far-end modems is
functional
Gray The slot is empty or masked via installation update
Orange Communication between near-end and far-end modems exists,
but there is an active alarm relevant to the connection.
For ASM-40CD, the communication-bar segment color indications are as follows:
Green Communication between near-end and far-end modems is
functional
or
When test ANA+BERT is performed, the remote modem is
disconnected.
Orange No communication between near-end and far-end modem.
Gray The slot is empty or masked via installation update
In LRS-12, single-slot cards are represented by a single row of indicators. In
LRS-24, the upper row of indicators represents single-slot cards.
