Net Inventory 4-39
4.6 Net Inventory
For this version of RADview-HPOV/ATM, the only RAD agents that support Net
Inventory are: ACE-202 and ACE-2002/2002E phase 2.5 or higher.
Introduction
The Net Inventory application enables you to display an Inventory Table for all
products that support Entity-MIB according to RAD implementation. The Inventory
Table (see Figure 4-33) includes inventory information about each node (agent) in
the map that supports Entity-MIB.
The table is a hierarchical system. Click on the left side of an Entity and the tree
opens to display all components that have the selected component ID in their
entPhysicalContainedIn MIB parameter.
Figure 4-33. Net Inventory Opening Window
The parameters in the Inventory Table window and their actions are described in
Table 4-11.
• The HPOV map should be open when activating Net Inventory for the first time.
• When you begin the application, information is read from all nodes that
represent agents supporting ENTITY-MIB on the map.
