Automatic Configuration Upload 4-63
Selecting Nodes
You can select which agent configurations will be updated by:
• Agent type (ACE-101, ACE-50, ACE-2002, IPmux-1/1E, IPmux-4, IPmux-16)
• Node (IP Address).
Adding/Removing Nodes
To Add/Remove nodes to ACU list:
1. From the Options menu, select Nodes Selection.
The Automatic Configuration Upload Nodes Selection dialog box appears
(see Figure 4-58).
2. Press <Node Selection> for an agent type.
The ACU application checks the database for all nodes of that agent type.
The Node Selection dialog box for a specific agent type appears, showing
IP Addresses for all nodes of that agent type, in two columns (see
Figure 4-59). You can move nodes from one column to the other by the
<Add> or <Remove> button. The nodes that appear in these lists are
only of the agent type in the row that was pressed in the previous dialog
box.
Remaining Nodes are those nodes from HPOV that are not in the ACU
database (not scheduled for ACU).
Selected Nodes are those nodes from HPOV that are in the ACU
database (scheduled for ACU).
3. Perform one of the following (see Figure 4-59):
Check <All> for all remaining nodes of an agent
Check <Selected> if you want to make any changes, i.e. to add or
remove nodes from the list that will be uploaded in the next session.
4. Highlight a node and press <Add> or <Remove>.
The node(s) moves to the opposite column.
5. Press <Set>.
The Automatic Configuration Upload Nodes Selection dialog box appears
(see Figure 4-58).
6. Click on the checkbox for each agent where you want to apply ACU and
press <Apply>.
The Status bar on the bottom of the dialog box says “DB Set successful”.
7. Press <All Nodes> to verify that you have selected the correct node name (IP
Address) and agent type.
The All Agents dialog box appears (see Figure 4-60). Only those nodes that
have Yes in the Uploaded column will be updated in the next scheduled
ACU operation. They are highlighted in green.
