4.8 Net Statistics
The ATM Statistical Information Collecting Application is a tool for saving into files
statistical information collected from an ATM device.
If a new RADview version, containing updated statistic features is installed while the
statistics process is active, the new statistics process will not take place until the old
process will be killed and the new process will be started from the HPOV menu
entry.
The processes that should be killed are:
ACE-101: /opt/MNG/MNGVIEWHP/WAN/bin/mng164_gen_net_statistics
ACE-2002: /opt/MNG/MNGVIEWHP/WAN/bin/mng164_ace0_statistics
Setting up the TFTP Server in a Unix Workstation
Verify that the TFTP Server is enabled before you begin the statistical collection
application.
To setup the TFTP Server:
1. Ping the connected agent from the TFTP Server, to check that the agent is
connected to the station running the TFTP Server.
2. Login as root.
3. Create the directory /export/home/tftpboot by typing:
mkdir -p /export/home/tftpboot
4. Type: chmod -R 777 /export/home/tftpboot to change the permission of the
directory you created to Read/Write.
