Chapter 3
RADview-HPOV Startup
This chapter briefly explains the HP OpenView (HPOV) features which allow the
user to create and monitor nets and agents.
3.1 Getting Started
After completing installation, the system administrator can perform initial
operations and configure agents:
• Creating a Network Map
• Creating Agent Nodes
• Configuring Agents.
Detailed information about creating hierarchies/submaps and agents are found in
Creating a Net Hierarchy on page 3-9. For more information about configuring
agents, refer to the specific Agent section, further on in this manual.
To run RADview-HPOV:
• Type ovw.
